PLAN Australia maintains an extensive panel of residential and commercial lenders to ensure you have access to hundreds of loan products to suit client needs. We work in partnership and maintain strong relationships with our lender panel. Our panel ranges from major banks, building societies and credit unions to retail lenders and specialist non-banks.

Our lending panel is continually reviewed to ensure our brokers and affiliate partners are able to meet their clients' needs by maintaining a competitive advantage in today's aggressive mortgage broker market.

Buy/Sell Facility

The mortgage industry continues to undergo significant changes as a result of NCCP requirements and businesses may respond to this is different ways. Some mortgage brokers may pursue opportunities outside the industry and would like to explore the opportunity of valuing their trail book. Other businesses staying in the industry may chose to grow by acquiring such books.

At PLAN Australia, we provide a Buy/Sell Facility which offers our members a simple, risk-free channel through which their trail books can be bought or sold.

The Buy/Sell Facility is a well established process from start to finish, which includes a transparent price methodology based on factors such as: 

  • makeup of revenue (mortgage trail or insurance trail)
  • panel versus non-panel lenders 
  • extent of borrowers’ details 
  • clawback history

Terms include 100% of the determined price on settlement (less any fees, charges and taxes payable) with transparent terms and conditions provided upfront.

Just as a mortgage broker would refer a customer to an accountant or solicitor for professional tax advice, referring a customer to Aviate Group is a referral to a professional for a specialised service.

Aviate Group will remunerate mortgage brokers for referrals that result in the purchase of a property they recommend*. This represents an additional revenue opportunity for members. In many circumstances this would be in addition to revenue generated in assisting the customer obtain finance to purchase a property.
